Guinness VCT plc is a United Kingdom-based generalist venture capital trust (VCT) seeking to invest in a diversified portfolio of businesses. The Company is focused on investing in companies that have already gained traction with a product, service or technology, in their respective markets. The Company is focused on investments in growth companies in a range of sectors, including technology, education, healthcare, manufacturing, retailing, leisure and food and drink. These businesses will mostly be unquoted, but the Company will also consider businesses listed on qualifying exchanges, such as AIM. The Company will make initial investments of £0.1 million to £10 million and may also make follow-on investments into existing portfolio companies. Its investment manager is Guinness Asset Management Limited.
