The VM Rank provides a simple but effective system for finding cheap, improving (value+momentum) shares. It is an equally weighted combination of Stockopedia's ValueRank and MomentumRank. These two basic ranks are computed for every company in the market on a daily basis, summed and then re-ranked as a percentile from 0 (worst) to 100 (best).
The VM Rank is often favoured by turnaround investors who like to purchase value shares with recovering share prices.
High VM ranking shares may have lower quality as profitability often recovers later than price.
